Arsenal close in on Sahin deal

According to recent reports Arsenal are close to agreeing a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin hours after Alex Song successfully passed his medical at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal have been dealt a major blow by the departures of their two most valuable players Robin Van Persie and Alex Song earlier last week. Within days of Van Persie securing his move to Old Trafford, Song has also completed his transfer to Barcelona for a fee of £15m. However, Arsene Wenger has sprung into action rather quickly and news have emerged that the Gunners have sealed the loan deal for Turkey international Nuri Sahin.
This news would come as a bit of a shock to Brendan Rodgers who was keen on bringing the 23 year old to Anfield this summer to solve the midfield problems. The former Dortmund playmaker moved to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer but failed to cement his place in the first team and managed a paltry 11 appearances over the course of last season.
Jose Mourinho has urged the youngster to consider a move elsewhere to get more football and it seems like Sahin would be completing his move very soon. Reports say that the loan deal could be made permanent if the Gunners wish to do so.

Le Prof Wenger is gradually waking up from sleep by making important signings. The players dont seem to be committed to the club. Each year a senior and important player must leave. Every effort must be made to keep these players intact in order to win laurels. Players come to Arsenal FC to train and leave when they attain world standard.

on loan from madrid (really) if he cant get in the madrid team why is he good enough for AFC Khadira and alonso are playing for madrid when a coach like mourinho doesnt want him what does that say i would not like to see arsenal sign either of them why sign a player that is not good enough to be in the team ahead of them come on show some ambition. there are better players out there ex. fellani I would say add a couple of million to what we got for song and we have a better player no doubt going forward and in defence. m villa is a head case didnt make much impact in the euros and looked ordinary at best at £15~20m is too expensive over hyped and over priced
