Arsenal target Benatia commits snubs move

Morocco international has committed his future to Udinese dealing a blow to Arsenal and Liverpool’s hopes of securing his services for the upcoming season due to start this weekend.
The 25 year old defender has signed an extension till 2017 amid rumors of a possible move to the Premier League. Arsene Wenger is keen to make additions to his defense after the younger crop disappointed during the pre season tour of Asia. Benatia was believed to be one of the top defensive targets for the Frenchman this summer given Udinese value him at just £8m.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was also keenly following the talented defender but the latest news will come as a shocker to the Merseyside club as well. The details of the contract aren’t known yet but Benatia’s chances of playing in the Premier League seem faint.
