Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been branded ‘fat’ by the coaching staff of his current team Juventus after sealing a switch to the Serie A champions in the final minutes of the transfer window.
The 24 year old Danish center forward had insisted he would leave the Emirates this summer after Arsene Wenger ran out of patience with Bendtner and sent him out on loan last season. But the lack of footballing action and pre season training has significantly affected the striker’s fitness and Bianconeri coaching staff believes he is carrying too much weight to play in the Serie A.
Former Italy and Juventus defensive midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi has criticized the club’s decision to bring the Dane on loan. According to one of the Turin club’s legends, the self proclaimed ‘best player in the world’ hardly helps in improving the team.
‘I will not say Bendtner is a bad player,’ said Tacchinardi. ‘But he does not help improve Juventus, either.’
However, Arsene Wenger continues to struggle to find potential suitors for Andrei Arshavin as Russian transfer deadline approaches. With Zenit St. Petersburg believed to be interested in the midfielder’s signature, it would interesting to see if Le Prof offloads or retains him.

The big RVP merchandise throw away day
The man has obviously no respect for us so why should we have any for him.No gooner surely still wears his shirt or drinks from his cup or wears his scarf or waves his flag or whatever you bought to support his one great year for us,so why not on that fatefull day he returns to our club playing against us dont you just throw it onto the pitch before the Kick off so he actually realises how he has left us feeling.AFC has to know how this unbelievable event has affected the fans. This transfer cant just be brushed under the carpet…….can it.
Im not suggesting anyone has to do this by the way.Ithink it would get a point across though, what do you think.
