Biglia set to replace outbound Song?

According to SkySports Lucas Biglia could be set for a move to the Emirates as Arsene Wenger seeks replacement for Barcelona bound Alex Song.
The Cameroonian international has been transferred to Barcelona after the Sunderland match. With Van Persie already joining rivals Manchester United for £24m, the departure of Alex Song who was probably the second best player for the Gunners last term could deal a heavy blow.
Meanwhile, Lucas Biglia has emerged as the favorite to replace Song at the Emirates this summer. The 25 year old defensive midfielder has been followed by Wenger for a long time and the Frenchman ahs identified as the best possible option. Anderlecht could be willing to cash in on the Argentine international if a good offer comes their way with Real Madrid and Inter Milan also in the reckoning.
It is understood the player himself is keen on a move to the London club and might press for a transfer if Arsenal do make a formal offer. The club’s interest in Biglia however won’t affect their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin who continues to remain a loan target for the Gunners.

A lot of us(Arsenal FC fans),in our hearts, out of deep frustrations wish Mr Wenger and his board just vanishes from the Emirate stadium,but this hasn’t happened. The sales of van Persie and Song is not incidental,rather,it was long planned and only recently executed without feelings for fans.What sort of money would make us sell to Man Utd? We are living in a fool’s world if we believe Wenger would bring in any new player,let us be quiet and watch him.Above all,it’s time to demand Usmanov a seat on the board,perhaps then,trophies shall come our way again.
