Italian champions Juventus are ready to lock horns with English giants Arsenal for the signature of Spanish outfit Athletic Bilbao’s contract rebel Fernando Llorente.

The giant Spaniard has revealed his desire of not extending his contract at Bilbao, which expires once the current season ends. Hence the club are looking to sell the striker in January and earn as much as they can from his sale rather than see him walk away for free at the end of the season.

The Gunners have been constantly linked with him, especially after the departure of Robin van Persie. Though Arsenal have started the season brightly with a flurry of goals following a slow start, the rumors linking him to the London club have not died away, and insiders expect Arsenal to make a bid for him in January.

However, challenging them would be Juventus, who strengthened their attack marginally with the loan signing of Nicklas Bendtner, coincidentally of Arsenal. Hence, they too will be in the market for a top striker, and have set their sights on Llorente.

Where will the striker head finally? England, or Italy?
