Lewandowski Wants Premiership Move. Are United And Arsenal Listening ?

The English duo of Arsenal and Manchester United have been given an indirect hint from Borussia Dortmund’s striker Robert Lewandowski, who has praised the English league while admitting his desire to one day grace the English Premier League.

The Polish frontman, who had a stellar league campaign for Dortmund last term, fired 30 goals in all competitions to clinch the league and cup double for Dortmund. Being heavily linked to Arsenal and United earlier in the summer, the speculations fizzled out in recent weeks.

With Arsenal’s captain Robin van Persie’s still unclear, the Gunners are on the hunt for a top striker, and have been watching 23-year Lewandowski. United too, are keen to bolster their attacking personnel and have been impressed with the Poland international’s abilities in front of goal.

Lewandowski spoke to Polish television station TVP where he admitted, ”This (the Premier League) is a league that I would like to play in, and I hope it happens sometime. Although I am happy at Dortmund I always like to aspire to greater heights.”

Will Arsenal try and sign the young attacker? Or will United lure him and re-unite him with former Dortmund team-mate Shinji Kagawa, who made the switch from Dortmund to United just a few weeks back?
