Manchester United defender Ezekiel Fryers has publicly denied that he has rejected a contract offer from the English champions.
There have been reports that the 19-year old is packing his bags, and that his time as a United player is up.
As Fryer’s deal is running out in the summer, he is not the only player linked with speculation which suggest that he is on his way out of the club. Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison too, were linked with moves away from Old Trafford. Contract rebel Paul Pogba, Fryer’s team mate in the youth squad, has reportedly disagreed to a new contract, whereas Ravel Morrison has already left United.
But the young full back Fryers has taken to social networking website Twitter to play down speculation surrounding him and his contract. The Englishman Tweeted on his personal account, “Why is everyone believing what they read…I haven’t rejected the contract!”
The exciting youngster would be hoping that this public declaration will end all the lingering doubts over his future at United.
