Milan offer Arsenal Mexes in exchange for Bendtner

Serie A giants AC Milan are willing to offer French defender Phillippe Mexes to Arsenal in exchange for Danish center forward Nicklas Bendtner.
The 24 year old Dane has announced that he would be moving away from the Emirates this summer after falling out of favor at Arsenal. Bendtner was loaned out to Sunderland last season where he managed to find the back of the net eight times. Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger has lost patience and is eager to offload Bendtner to another club permanently this summer. And after an impressive display during the Euros, there seems to be a host of clubs interested in his signature including likes of Sporting Lisbon and Bayern Munich.
The Rossoneri are ready to offer Mexes in return for Bendtner although the wage demands of the French center half could prove to be a stumbling block in the deal. The former Roma star is likely to seek £80,000 per week which the London club may not be willing to agree for. Milan may look to compensate the defender however, so as to sweeten the deal for Mexes.
