Luka Modric has expressed his delight to have been linked to a host of top clubs across Europe this summer but admits that negotiations will have to wait.
The Croatian star has handed in a transfer request for the second time in as many seasons and Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy is willing to let him leave this time if a good offer comes their way. Manchester United have been heavily linked to the playmaker and have reportedly had their initial bid of £20m rejected by the London club. Spurs value Modric at somewhere around £30m, a price the Reds aren’t willing to meet for the 26 year old.
Meanwhile, Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also being reported to have entered the race with the La Liga champions leading to win his signature.
“Of course, I love to hear things like that, but it just motivates me more to play better and show that I can be even more dangerous,” he said.

I am a red’s fan and am happy that he likes the idea of a united move. He was great in the Euros and like to see him in a man u shirt! 26m? 30m a bit too much.
