Nasri Attacks Arsenal & Chelsea

Samir Nasri left Arsenal for Manchester City last summer for (pound) 24 million in a highly acrimonious transfer, and instantly became a hero-to-villain in the eyes of the Gunners faithful.
The Frenchman now believes that his former club needs to change their philosophy, as they are heading for a seventh year without landing any silverware.
The 24-year old has not been able to reach his maximum at Manchester City and has been reduced to the bench, chosen behind David Silva. He is in danger of proving himself a big-money flop.
Though this would make Arsenal fans really happy, Nasri claims that he does feel sad for the current state of his former club. He rates result over style, and says that Arsenal should sacrifice their style of fluent play, and play ugly if that is what it takes to the get results. In a local interview, the playmaker said, “You have to accept that sometimes it’s good to win ugly,”
“Arsenal play good football, but after seven years they don’t win so that’s difficult for them.”
There have been cries for Wenger to splurge the cash, like fellow Premiership sides Chelsea and Manchester City, but Nasri feels that spending is not the answer. He continued, “Chelsea have bought players and they haven’t won the title, so money doesn’t buy this.”
