Porto urge Blues to up their offer for Hulk transfer

Primeira Liga champions FC Porto have turned down Zenit St. Petersburg’s £40m offer for their Brazilian midfielder Hulk according to their club president.
The Portuguese club confirmed a few days back having received bids from three foreign clubs for the highly rated South American. However having previously claimed that the Brazil international would be sold if his price is met, Porto have turned down Zenit’s £40m offer. The player himself have been on a move to the Premier League and the club’s decision so as not sell him would come as a major disappointment to him.
Although there hasn’t been a word on whether Blues’ bid has also been rejected, it is believed that the Londoners would have to fork out in excess of £40m to snap up the deal on the transfer deadline day. Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is a firm admirer of the 25 year old and considers him to be the finest replacement for the departed Didier Drogba.
“They offered €50 million and I refused,” the Porto president Pinto da Costa is quoted as saying in Portuguese newspaper Record.
“For that I can guarantee that neither Zenit nor any club will be successful [in their attempts to sign Hulk].”

The truth is that Chelsea don’t need Hulk, all their midfield and wing spaces are taken. Regardless of reports, its Hulk that wants to get out of Porto. Lets face it; he is a good player wasting away in an average European club. He is now 26; half his football years are over. Chelsea isn’t worried, Hulk is.

If we really want trophies this season, Hulk or Cavani is a must buy. Let us stop deceiving ourselves with regards to Torres form. Forget about Andre Schurrel, he is a neophyte. He cannot give Torres serious challenge. Chelsea need a player who can bang in goals. Pls get any of the two.

Cavani is the ideal n future replacement 4 Didier, he’s got pace, agility, foot work as well as power, and above all his age is another factor because is @ his best n has showed a considerable level of consistency for club and country.

Hulk ain’t d answer 4chelsea up-front bt Cavani is d right man we need nw. Hulk is too xpensive and no matter hw he cant b compare wit Torres. So 4get abt d Hulk and lets grab Cavani and Andreal schurle. Moreover Moses can do better than Hulk bcoz Moses hs established himself in EPL with good momentum, wch Hulk hasn’t do. Its just that black players (people) used to b underated in earoupe.

Really Sad & upset news that chelsea lost suppercup badly.
Mentally socked and i was waited for deadline time minimum 1 striker singing.
All is messup. Great mistake done by ChelseaFC administration. Why? Explaining.. I am just a Fan of Chelsea. Nothing else.. I know Mr. Abraimovic will be not hearing me.
Now Chelsea Set for PLAN A. But where is Plan B or C ? Its simple i will expect Plan B from Chelsea FC. What will be happen if (Hope God will be not doing it) Torres injure blow starting from next match?
Mess-up Plan i am seeing from Chelsea FC..
Top class team has 4/5 striker for meeting their PLAN B, C and even Plan D.
All are thinking that, Torres is there, so no problem. Just want to say, as per match situation if you need to stop playing messi then who would be there? Yes i know, Berca has a well organized plan of B, C. You know how many striker can be replace for changing instantly match planing.
RDM forget for planing in deepth. I seen supercup. Please take your look on that match. If you seen, you can see, Chelsea was struggling when torres was not playing 5% from his 100%. Where was instant PLAN for recovering? There was no replacement.
Look like chelsea was playing as per their plan A. No plan B option was there when Torres is the only one man upfont.
Bad Business has been done when i seen Man City finally passed a great Transfer policy of business.
Anyway, Hope Chelsea will cope with current squad with their PLAN A. No need anymore Plan B or C. (Hope God will be help them).
