Premier League’s top clubs have been called to action by Malaga striker Jose Salomon Rondon after expressing his strong desire to play in such a ‘strong’ league.

The 22 year old Venezuelan has now spent two years in Malaga in 2010 and has since finished the club’s top scorer in both seasons. The player’s agent had revealed that the player has been watched by the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. The European champions were intensely linked to the striker as it was believed that new coach Roberto Di Matteo wanted the young star as the replacement to Didier Drogba at the Stamford Bridge.

The player has welcomed interest from top clubs and has rushed to make himself available to the top clubs. Speaking to a Venezuelan newspaper El Elspectador he said, “I have a contract with Malaga for the next two years, and if anyone wants me at his club in England, Germany or whatever, we will have to talk to the club.”

“I’m attracted to the Premier League, the league is pretty interesting. But not only the English, the German league too. The truth is that they have strong football.”

Rondon is one of the most sought after young strikers in the European continent at the moment after his consistent performances for the La Liga side to help them to Champions League qualification earned him many admirers.
