Sahin Will Make The Switch. Arsenal Or Milan?

Arsenal are set to be face stiff competition from AC Milan and Inter for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin according to reports in the Italian media.

Sahin, 23, moved to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and has since then struggled to make his way into the starting line up for Real Madrid. The Turkish international managed 10 appearances for the Los Blancos and with the mooted arrival of Luka Modric, he could find himself further down the pecking order.

Arsenal were reported to have arranged a temporary deal for the young star but Arsene Wenger too little time to thrash down all rumors. But sports website Calciomercato.com reports that Milan heavyweights have also joined in the race and AC Milan seemingly stand the best chance to get him. After the sales of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for big money to PSG, the Italian giants have a big purse to spend this summer.

Arsenal could once again have to pay the penalty of dilly dallying over transfers after failing to secure the services of Yann M’Vila fast enough. Unless Arsene Wenger sanctions a purchase of the young Madrid star, he would be left to rue this later.

This story is a shambles considering Wenger has already said we are NOT getting M’Villa OR Sahin. Read the news. ‘wenger dismisses M’villa and other central midfield reinforcements’. We’re not getting a CM. Diaby, Arteta, Song, Ramsey, Coquelin, Cazorla (who can play middle), Wishere (when/if he returns), and Eisfeld and Lansbury run outs. We’er not ‘dilly dallying’ as we’re not even in for these players.

FYI – Wenger on buying a CM – …. No [I am not interested]. We wait on Diaby and Wilshere. When you look we have Song, Ramsey, Coquelin, Wilshere, Arteta and Diaby. In defensive midfielders and box-to-box players we are not short…

It’s the same Wenger who when asked about Santi Carzola said.”I don’t know that player”. We all know what happened after that. Sahin is coming to Arsenal.
