Song agrees move to Barcelona?

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Arsenal midfield marshal Alex Song has agreed personal terms with Barcelona and is near a move to Camp Nou.

The Cameroonian international has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants recently after reports that the defensive midfielder was seeking a better pay from his current employers. Tito Vilanova is a strong admirer of the Gunner star and is keen to add him to his squad as he looks to wrestle back the domestic title from arch rivals Real Madrid.

The Catalans were chasing Athletic Bilbao star Javi Martinez but the player chose to commit his near future to the Europa League runners up in the last season. After conceding defeat in their attempts to lure the promising Spaniard to the club, Barcelona have set their eyes on the Arsenal star as a viable alternative.

Sergio Busquets recently spoke of his admiration for Song and welcomed the club’s interest in him. However, the player himself chose to downplay any rumors claiming that he is perfectly settled in London and has no intentions to quit Arsenal.

Sport reports that Barcelona are yet to put in a formal offer for the talented midfielder, who established himself as one of the top midfielders in England last season, but have reached an agreement over personal terms with Song. If Song wants to leave and the price is fair, then OK.
It does seem peculiar though for personal terms to be agreed BEFORE a fee is approved. Unless of course this HAS been agreed previously.
Song is good but he could be replaced from the market.

Look like every amateur is learning d trade with arsenal news. Pls let some of them write about chelsea luck or complaining SAF or better still about lane and modric
