Thiago Silva’s agent has stated that the Brazilian center half is open to the idea of a move if top clubs come calling, and Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in the Brazilian star
Paulo Tonietto, Silva’s agent, in a statement to Calciomercato revealed that although there hasn’t been any formal communication made between the clubs over the talented defender’s transfer, it is flattering to see top clubs linked to Silva.
“Thiago has a contract with AC Milan. PSG and Barcelona are two great clubs and we would be honoured by their interest, but they have not spoken to me and AC Milan haven’t told me anything,” Tonietto told Calciomercato.com.
“It would appear that there is nothing there. There are no offers. The player’s position has been clear for some time – he wants to stay in Milan. If Milan want to sell him, that is a different matter.”
Last week Roberto Mancini was seen having a discussion with Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani, sparking rumors that a deal involving the player might well be possible. The Manchester City boss played down the incident, while rumours continue about a possible switch to Chelsea for Silva.
Real Madrid and PSG are also believed to have Silva on their radar, but where will the Brazilian international go?
